The weekly board
The live game-by-game board publishes each week during the season — every NFL and major college matchup scored 0–100 from the forecast at the exact stadium. The college board is live now; the NFL board activates with Week 1 as kickoffs enter the 11-day forecast range. The scoring engine is live now and validated below.
Does it actually work?
NFL outdoor gamesThe index is built only from weather — scoring is an independent outcome. If the WFI is meaningful, average points per game should fall as the index rises. Across every outdoor NFL game since 1999, it does, cleanly:

Historical scores use game-time full inputs — observed temperature and wind plus ERA5-Land gust, humidity and precipitation — for the 3,595 games inside the reanalysis cache, and temperature and wind only for the 3,681 older ones outside it (OAK/SD/STL and pre-move stadiums). Each game carries which, and the two are not directly comparable. See the methodology.
